no one has mentioned the song it's alright in any of the show reviews recently. in new mexico they played it mid set i've never heard them play it prior and wanted to know more about the song.
being near 40 i had to take a moment to catch my breath @ this time mike introduced this song as something that happens spending time on the bus touring w/the guys and being in need of a woman ... or something to that effect... anyway the song was very lewd and sexual... sound familiar to any one...

He didn't play it in Atlanta monday, but I think I read where they have been some on the 2004 tour, I know he did the January 2004 show in atlanta. I have the mp3 of that song from that show.

I took a friend from work to the show who had never heard of Social D. But he is way into the Blues and knew the song, and sang all the words.

It is an old Blues standard by Blind Snooks Eaglin
    originally recorded in 1961.

"It's Alright" is also a newer incarnation of "Ready For Love." The lyrics are different in all three songs - It's Alright, Ready For Love, and the blues song that it is based on. It wasn't played at either of the NYC shows.

It was played in philly. I have to say I like ready for love better. There are more lyrics. He sings about his car and the back seat. I am sure you can get a copy on mp3.
